From january 2019 to october 2022, every Wednesday night from 19.00 to 21.00 local time, I hosted the alternative rock radio show Rockamole on BredaNu. We played the best of alternative rock in every way possible, ranging from metal to punk rock to indie and more. Me and my co-conspirators Chris van Laarhoven and Sam de Man have produced a catchy weekly radio show on the biggest local network in the area with great succes and a lot of fun. Two full hours of friendly banter and rock’n’roll, who doesn’t like that?
Not only did I host the show, I also did the technical side of things, previously working with Carmen automation and later using Aeron to broadcast live every week. To put on a live show every week one needs to be involved in a lot of pre-production, creating a fitting playlist every week, researching news and filling out weekly items on the show, arranging interviews and more. Aside from the actual show I was also solely responsible for design, PR and marketing activity throughout the existense of Rockamole.
